Marc’s advice on how to improve as a podcaster

Marc: That’s a better conversation. We’ve all done interviews for people that are literally reading something, and that’s not fun for the listener too, so I’m a big fan of keeping it like that. It keeps it more enjoyable for the listener. Now, today I should’ve warned everyone, I’m fighting off a really bad cold, so I’d know the ways. Earlier this morning I thought we’re going to have to cancel this, but it came back, but that being said, I would still never read. It’s boring to just read stuff off the piece of paper, and that’s not what people want to listen to when they’re downloading a podcast.

Evaldas: Yeah. I think for podcast, that’s why it’s so interesting personally in a sense because they’re hearing your own personal voice, and you’re talking like you have a friend on the phone or sibling. So you would expect to have a real kind of conversation, at least, that’s how people connect as I say it, from my own listening.
